Tiny Houses

I have absolutely become enamored with "Tiny Houses". I have been looking thru all the websites and links I can find. I want to build one myself, but not on wheels. I mean there's nothing wrong with the ones on wheels. I see myself buying a few acres on the river and building my tiny home. I love the idea of re purposing materials and trying to keep my footprint to a minimum. I'll be honest, I've always enjoyed small places. Now not closet small lol, but a 400-500 square foot home sounds nice. I love the innovations and creativity that springs forth in all the tiny homes I've seen. Then I began searching other sites from links on his blog. There is quite a revolution, which I remembered reading about a few years ago, but had no idea how big it's become. I've poured over blogs and sites and have so many ideas popping around my mind. I had to stop looking at them for a few days because I couldn't seem to drift to sleep because I kept coming up with ideas lol. Better Day

Well feeling much more myself now, only took 2 days lol. So how's everyone else doing? I saw that the lottery is getting quite the hefty jackpot. Now I don't usually play, but I might have to. I already know exactly what I'd do if I won. One thing for sure is buy myself a home and buy homes for some family. But something I think would be really great to do with that kind of money is to put an article in the paper asking people to nominate friends, family, or even strangers that have fallen on hard times and need help. I would do it just for the county I live in to begin with. I'd take a million dollars and help out the people that were nominated that needed it most. It could be something as simple as paying off a student loan or buying a used car to the more complex stuff like paying off home loans or paying for someone to go to college. How the world can change one person at a time

I decided yesterday after a long day of work that I didn't show the people I worked with how much I really appreciated them. So after a little thought I tapped on the office door of our HR person. I poked my head in and just told her how much I liked some flyers she had printed. The smile and the thank you I received told me she was glad to know her efforts weren't unnoticed. I walk away feeling pretty good. A trip to the grocery store led me to donate all the dollars I had on me to the empty stocking fund and then for a third "good deed" for the day....I offered a ride to a woman who had quite a few groceries and was riding a bike. She said it never fails someone offers a ride when I don't need one but when i do no one is to be found. I decided to make sure from now on to watch for her to make sure she did get a ride when she needed it. Are these giant leaps and bounds into saving the world? A decent saturday

All in all I've had a really nice day today. It was really great to get to spend the whole day with my hubby and enjoy each others company. I don't think I've laughed so much with him in awhile. It'a a good idea to take the time to reconnect and fuel that flame from the spark that brought two loners together. It's wonderful to have someone who is a compliment to your own personality. He keeps me level headed when I need it be because I spend alot of time in the clouds lol. And where sometimes I over think stuff searching for an answer he can step in look at the surface and give a simple applicable solution.
