What to do?
Well I am sitting in front of my pc wondering what I am going to do with the rest of my life. I got laid off friday. I know it's only saturday and I have time to think, but there still seems like there's a sense of urgency. I must take my time and figure out exactly what would make me happy and follow my heart. I've worked since I was 18 yrs old, so here I am 30 with some actual time off...even if it's because of a lay off. I love writing, maybe there's something I can do with that (don't know til I try). No matter what I end up doing, this time I want it to be something I'll love or at least not completely hate haha. This lay off is a good thing, I know it is. My niece was just diagnosed with a very rare disease for which there is no cure so I can spend alot more time with her now. And I'll get to catch up on lost time with all my family. Sometimes a job just becomes so much more and we lose touch with family and friends. We ultimately lose sight of what's important, so I'm stopping to take a look around and be with the ones I care about. I could cry about it and worry about money and a new job, but instead I'll just keep faith and let God take care of it. It feels like I'm just now going to start living. Like I just now took my first breath. I was drowning and didn't even notice it. But now I am alive and I am going to live the life that God has put forth for me. Everything in this world happens for a reason and I might not know the reason for this, but I definately got the message. When God closes a door He opens a window. I'm not trying to preach religion to anyone, your faith is your own, but I won't sit silently. God has a message of love for us all and I think it's time we started sharing it. There is a direction for each and everyone of us and though I don't know mine yet...I know wherever I go from here is a step in the right direction. Be blessed and know love.
